Meet the Assistant

Hi, my name is Hillary! I'm a CSU Long Beach alumna, have two dogs, and enjoy all things arts and crafts. I've worked with children since 2011, as a tutor, youth leader, and teaching assistant. On the weekends, I volunteer at my church and play ultimate frisbee at the park. I enjoy playing board games, watching movies, and discovering new music. If you have any recommendations, I'm all ears!

Meet the Assistant

My passion for helping people stemmed from my education at the University of California, Merced, where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Science with an emphasis in Human Biology. During my time there, I did a lot of volunteer work within the community, such as, tutored the youth at the Boys and Girls Club, and fundraised for the Children’s Miracle Network and Reading is Fundamental. I also went abroad on a medical mission to provide free healthcare and free health education to the underserved population of Vietnam. My decision to enter education is a direct result of having fun, caring, and wonderful teachers who believed, encouraged, and helped me realized my potential. I believe that teaching is one of the most direct way to make an impact. I hope to be able to instill a love of learning in students, the way my teachers did for me, to ensure a brighter future for them and all mankind.

Meet the Assistant

Hi, I'm Miss Katrina. I'm currently at El Camino College, studying Psychology. Besides helping at Teeny Tots, I volunteer at the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Group in Gardena. I enjoy going to the beach, spending time with my friends and family, as well as the kids.

"Teeny Tots hold high standard in academics, excellent place environment expectations, and in being accountable to all the parents and children!" -Vitalicious M.
